An all new home for England’s art and culture

We were asked by the Arts Council England to help them re-establish their online platform. We led the design work, as well as helped them find a new development partner that could meet their ongoing needs as well as a new design approach. Eventually, our relationship developed into us becoming ACE brand guardians.

Smart, re-usable, and truly modular

Our approach to the new platform was to break the norm and move away from page templates and instead employ a builder that could accommodate modules that are designed for specific content and user needs. This approach resulted in a much more robust framework that the brand could manage internally.

Accessible and useful

Tackling mobile was also a huge part of the task we had, something the client felt very strongly about. Again, our modular approach really proved it’s worth as we able to more tightly control the UX for mobile.
